(NECN) - Boston Mayor Thomas Menino fractured his leg earlier this weekend, and had surgery to repair the injury on Saturday.
On Sunday, Menino will be spending another night in the hospital as he recovers.
A spokesperson said the 70-year-old is up and about in an air boot cast, and is looking forward to being back on the job soon.
