Immigration Arrests in New Bedford, Mass. Connected to Bombing?

(NECN) - We're learning that two foreign nationals have been arrested in New Bedford, Mass., on immigration violations.

This comes one day after three others were brought in for questioning in connection with Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Those three have since been released.

All five of the people who have been questioned by authorities live at the Hidden Brook apartment complex, not far from UMass-Dartmouth, where Tsarnaev was a student.

The New Bedford police say that Tsarnaev lived in one of the dorms on campus.

Meanwhile, it is unclear when the campus of UMass-Dartmouth will reopen.

The campus has been closed since Friday -- ever since authorities learned that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was a student there.

NECN’s affiliate in Providence, WJAR-TV, reports that police say the campus is safe, but they are continuing their investigation.

Students who don't have a place to say, are being put up into hotels.
