Students Raise Large Profit for Charity Through Shirts

(NECN) - Boston Strong has taken on a powerful meaning in the wake of the attack.

Two Emerson students are using that phrase to help raise money for One Fund Boston, the charity created to assist the victims.

Chris Dobens and Nick Reynolds made up some Boston Strong t-shirts with a modest goal of selling around 100 of them.

Just over a week later, they've raised half a million dollars.

The shirts sell for $20 dollars, five of which goes to pay for their costs and the rest donated to the One Fund.

You can find a link to purchase the shirt here.
