She and her husband Mike were in Boston on that tragic Marathon Monday to celebrate at a cancer fighting fundraiser hosted by former New England Patriot Joe Andruzzi at Forum. It was a fateful choice.
"I just remember him being blown back into the restaurant, going down like a rag doll, glass everywhere and then I blacked out," Amy recalls.
She came to in the arms of her son, Ryan, who was carrying away from the madness of the marathon bombings.
"I could feel blood trickling down my face," she says.
