2 Shooting Victims Found in Crashed Car in Chelsea, Mass.

(NECN: Justin Michaels) - Police are still investigating at the intersection of Crescent Avenue and Parker Street in Chelsea, Mass. And the fact that people now know two people were killed here gives this neighborhood another reason to be concerned.

The neighborhood around Parker Street and Crescent Avenue in Chelsea is once again the scene of a crime.

"It's disturbing to see it happen in your own neighborhood."

Right around 4:00 a.m. Monday morning, the Chelsea police were called to investigate a car sitting nose first into a building. When they arrived they found a man and a woman dead inside that car.

"It's crazy because it's run out the street here a lot and there's a lot of activity just from the people who live here."

The car is a Ford Crown Victoria with livery plates.

Chelsea police would not confirm how the people died or what kinds of wounds they sustained. Earlier, police told NECN that the victims were shot.

Chelsea police would only confirm that the deaths are suspicious and are being investigated by their department and the District Attorney's Office.

The District Attorney's Office put out a statement saying that the investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed on any suspects.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Chelsea Police detectives at 617-466-4843 or the Suffolk County State Police Detective Unit at 617-727-8817.
