(NECN) - A college senior, just one day away from graduation, died in a car crash in Fairfield, Connecticut on Saturday.
Deandre Lawton of Brockton, Massachusetts died when his car hit a tree just outside the main entrance to Fairfield University.
Lawton was set to receive his degree in business at today's commencement.
Students held a small vigil at the scene of the crash on Saturday night.
The school is offering grief counseling for students.
