Boston Pride on Display at One Fund Benefit Concert

(NECN: Jos Brogadir) – Boston pride was on full display at the TD Garden Thursday night for the Boston Strong benefit concert.

Some of the biggest names in music and entertainment took to the stage to show support for the victims of the marathon day bombing attacks.

There was more than five hours of music and, at the end, there was a meaningful treat for the home crowd.

Plus, Dirty Water never sounded so good, with everyone onstage at the Boston Strong concert finale at the TD Garden.

It was a tribute to the survivors and first responders of the marathon bombings.

There were 12 musical groups and comedians, many with Boston ties, from Aerosmith to James Taylor and Carole King to Jimmy Buffett.

There were also special guests and surprises along the way, including those who helped comfort the survivors at the finish line, like Tyler Dodd.

It was, a memorable night.

There was trouble with the Live Nation feed throughout the concert, and there’s no telling how that will impact the effort to raise dollars for the One Fund, but, all in all, it was an incredible night.
