Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team Hosting Children Who've Lost Limbs

(NECN/WESH: Aixa Diaz) – Twenty children who suffered limb loss are joining the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team for a fun week-long camp at Disney World's ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Greg Reynolds is helping to coach the campers. He's a player for the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball team, which is a nonprofit that travels the country to raise awareness and give back.

"We're so far along in our recovery and they have something to aim for," Reynolds said.

For the children, it's a learning lesson for the field and for life.

"I've learned to never give up and to try your hardest," camper Henry Waterman said.
