Hernandez Loses Endorsement Deal

(NECN) - Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is now losing money as a result of the controversy surrounding him this week.

CytoSport, the maker of Muscle Milk and other such products, announced Friday it is ending its endorsement contract with Hernandez effectively immediately because of the investigation involving him.

Police have been in and out of Hernandez's home all week as they investigate the homicide of a friend of his, Odin Lloyd, whose body was found about a mile from Hernandez's North Attleboro, Mass. home.

Officials have not said anything about a possible connection to Hernandez specifically, but CytoSport has pulled their deal anyway.

Hernandez also endorses Puma of Westford, Mass., and that company says they're aware of the situation but are not commenting right now.
