(NECN: Justin Michaels, Tewksbury, Mass.) - Police are investigating a stabbing at a Motel 6 in Tewksbury, Mass.

Information from investigators has been limited here in Tewksbury. We do believe there has been a stabbing at this Motel 6 on Main Street; however, they're not giving any details on that stabbing. So all I can report to you for sure is what we've seen on scene.

This is the Motel 6 at 95 Main St. in Tewksbury. We've seen a car being put on a flatbed and taken away from the scene.

But something else I noticed is that this is a huge crime scene. Crime scene police tape stretches from the front of the building all the way around to the back of the building, 100 yards or more. You can see evidence markers throughout the parking lot and down the hallways of this motel.

There are still investigators on scene, mostly in the back of the building though, but it's difficult to tell what exactly they're doing from our vantage point.

I was speaking with a few Motel 6 occupants who have been shut out of this motel. They say they haven't been allowed in for more than five hours. As we learn more information will bring it to you live.
