LL Bean Bag Made From Fenway Park Tarp Benefits Boston Bombing Victims

(NECN) - L.L. Bean's latest bag flew off the shelves. The limited edition One Fund Boston Tote sold out in just hours.

The lines started forming early Friday morning outside the flagship store in Freeport, Maine. The bags are made from tarp that covered Fenway Park's infield.

Most of the 3,500 bags were sold in Freeport, but three stores in Massachusetts also had a supply on hand for those willing to get up early.

"This gives people the chance to get a piece of L.L. Bean history because it's the 100th anniversary tarp, Fenway history and there's a benevolent side because they get to help out the folks most impacted by the Boston bombing," said Mac McKeever.

All the profits from the bag sales will go to One Fund Boston.
