(NECN) -  Syrian President Bashar Assad is denying claims in a UN report that found "clear and convincing” evidence of a sarin gas attack in the country last month.

In an interview with Fox News Wednesday night, Assad called the report "unrealistic" and denies his regime had anything to do with it.

He also says his he would abide by a U.S. / Russian agreement to give up his chemical weapons, but that it would cost an estimated $1 billion and take about a year.
