Jurors Visit Site of Revere, Mass. Mental Health Worker Murder

(NECN: Nicole Jacobs) - It's been nearly three years since 25-year-old Stephanie Moulton was murdered, stabbed to death on a snow-covered January evening.

According to the commonwealth, her death was at the hands of Deshawn Chappell, a resident at the group home where Moulton worked.

Who can forget the images of her blood smeared vehicle, surely to be used as evidence in Chappell's murder trial which began Thursday?

Day one, jurors poised to hear the case, taking part in a viewing of three key locations

They first stopped at the Seagull House on Ocean Ave in Revere, Mass., where prosecutors allege Chappell murdered Moulton.

They looked inside and outside of the two-story brick town home before the next stop at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Lynn. It's where investigators discovered Moulton's body.

The third and final area for the jury to view was Dorchester, where authorities located Moulton's vehicle, taking note of Tedeschi's, a strip mall and an MBTA station.

It was tour setting the scene and the tone for a jury now tasked with bringing a decision of justice.
