(NECN) – It was an emotional day for family members of two young children killed by a suspected drunk driver in Meridan, Conn.
Israel Gonzalez, 29, was charged Monday with evading responsibility, reckless driving and driving without a license.
The bond was set at $1 million.
Investigators believe alcohol was a factor and more serious charges could come as they wait to obtain blood-alcohol test results.
