(NECN) - Nearly seven months ago, J.P. and Paul Norden were outside the Forum restaurant on Boylston Street in to cheer on a friend running the Boston Marathon when the bombs went off.
Sunday, they returned to the restaurant for a fundraiser in their honor.
The brothers each lost their right legs in the April 15 blasts. Several of the Forum staff helped the brothers as they waited for rescue workers to arrive.
Several first responders were expected at the fundraiser to receive merit certificates from the Norden family.
Money raised will go to the Norden Brothers Benefit Fund to help the brothers with their medical expenses.
