(NECN) - Officials with the Mass. Department of Children and Families will go before a House committee Thursday, facing questions over its recent failures.
Commissioner Olga Roche is among the DCF officials to testify at the hearing.
This comes a day after a report in the Boston Herald revealed that more than one-third of social workers at the agency were not licensed to practice in their field.
According to state regulations, only social workers who work for the commonwealth or local government aren't required to be licensed.
