Amber Alert Issued for 2 Pa. Children Who Could Be Heading to Mass.

UPDATE 8:05: The children have been found safe. They were found in Philadelphia. Eddie Ahorrio Jr. and Eddie Ahorrio Sr have been arrested.

(NECN) -  An Amber Alert has been issued for two young children from Pennsylvania and police say they could be heading to Massachusetts.

Pennsylvania State Police issued that Amber Alert late Thursday night as the search for the missing children intensified.

Police said that three-year-old Erielys Ahorrio and her four-year-old brother John were allegedly abducted at gunpoint around 7:30 Thursday night.

The kids were taken from Lancaster.

According to investigators, the children were taken by family members.

Police are searching for 23-year-old Eddie Ahorrio Jr. and 47-year-old Eddie Ahorrio Sr.

The suspects are believed to be traveling in a black Nissan Altima with a Pennsylvania license plate JJG8170.

Police believe the suspects are driving across Pennsylvania and are heading to Massachusetts.
