Vt. State Police: Search Continues for Missing NY Man

(NECN) - Vermont State Police are continuing their search Friday for a missing Granville, N.Y. man that was last seen in January along the banks of the Mettawee River on the New York-Vermont state line.

According to authorities, 23-year-old Jonathan Schaff was last seen in early morning hours of Jan. 18 after reportedly being involved in a fight at a bar in Granville earlier that evening. Police say he sustained a cut on his head and his glasses were broken.

Schaff was last seen walking east on East Main Street in Granville in the area of the New York-Vermont state line, and was reportedly wearing a gray hoodie and/or a dark brown Carhart jacket, dark pants and brown work boots.

Friday, Vermont authorities will search along the banks of the Mettawee River near Granville, N.Y. and Pawlett, Vt.
