(NECN) - Police officers wear bullet-proof vests, so why shouldn't their faithful K-9 companions wear them, too? One reason is the cost, but a new program works to overcome that obstacle.
Jake the Vet joins "The Morning Show" to discuss Vested Interest in K-9s, Inc., a non-profit fundraising organization dedicated to providing bullet and stab protective vests for law enforcement K-9s throughout the U.S.
Each vest costs $1,006.
