Woman Trapped in Glass Only Communicating Through Social Media

(NECN/KOIN) - On the corner of a busy street in Portland, Oregon, you'll see a woman, Cristin Norine.

She's living in this glass box for a month, with everything she does clearly displayed, for the world to see. It's called the "Public Isolation Project." Norine is only communicating via the Internet. Email, Skype, Facebook... she can take her pick.

Why, you may be asking?

She says it's to demonstrate the lack of privacy on the Internet.

She said that while she doesn't think social media is a bad thing, she also hopes to get people communicating face-to-face again.
