Police in St. Augustine found thousands upon thousands of these bristleworms this week.
In this video, you can see them swimming around, in what marine biologists describe as a mating frenzy. That is typical for this time of year as the salt water has been getting warmer.
However, the number of worms seemed to decrease after a while as some fish were attacking them.
