(NECN) – A Rhode Island family is demanding answers after a specialized tricycle donated for their child with special needs was stolen last Monday.
Seventeen-year-old Wayne Thompson’s medical history has made his dream of riding a bike nearly impossible. However, his physical therapist donated a $7,000 specially-made tricycle that supports his scoliosis.
Wayne's mother says she cannot afford to replace the stolen tricycle, so she's asking people to keep an eye out in case the tricycle turns up.
