(NECN) - Investigators are searching for answers after a four-month-old girl from Grafton, Mass. was found dead.
According to the Boston Globe, state social workers overlooked a police officer's complaint that the girl was in danger for six days before investigating.
The girl was found dead in her mother's apartment on April 11.
Officials from the Department of Children and Families have confirmed that the baby's family was under investigation.
