Boston Institute Developing Effective Treatments for MERS

So far there have been no symptoms for hospital workers in Florida who may have been exposed to the MERS virus after coming into contact with the man who has the second known case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome in the U.S.

There is new hope for people with MERS and it comes from the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

Scientists there have taken a big step towards developing effective treatments.

The leader of the research team, Doctor Wayne Marasco joined us with more on the subject.
