Three people were arrested Wednesday following the discovery of a methamphetamine lab inside a shed on Vinalhaven Island in Maine.
Bail has been set at $800 for Ryan Rairdon, 25, of Houlton and at $500 for Hilary Walker, 20, of Vinalhaven.
Bail was also set at $500 for Owen Adair, 23, of Vinalhaven, but since he was also charged with violating conditions of a previous release from jail on unrelated charges, he is being held without bail.
Police had received a complaint of a possible meth lab on the island, and after conducting a preliminary investigation, deputies discovered several items consistent with the manufacturing of the drug.
Agents seized evidence, which included a gas generator, chemicals, and hosing.
The investigation is ongoing, and additional arrests are expected.
The address and name of the property owner is not being released because they were unaware of the meth operation.
