Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, have arrested three people in a heroin bust

Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, have arrested three people in a heroin bust.

Police said they were investigating Brian Landry, 25, and Miranda Gardner, 23, both of Manchester, for the sales of heroin to detectives.

Officials followed Landry on Feb. 3, to Lawrence, Massachusetts, where they believed him to be purchasing the heroin. They observed Landry pick up an unknown female.

A motor vehicle stop was made the two were arrested.

The unknown female was identified as Halie Babcock, 23, of Goffstown. She was charged with possession of a controlled drug for having a gram of heroin, a value of approximately $100. Her bail was set at $1,000. She was scheduled to appear in court Feb. 4.

Landry was charged with sale of a controlled drug. Police say he also had $1,961 in U.S. currency on him. A search warrant was later executed on his car. Police say they found $2,200 worth of heroin and six grams of marijuana. He was arraigned in court on new charges Feb. 5.

Gardner was arrested in her Manchester apartment. She was charged with sale of a controlled drug for her involvement in prior sales. Her bail was set at $10,000 and she was expected to be in court Feb. 4.
