Three people were hospitalized, including an infant, after an overnight fire destroyed a home in Southwick, Massachusetts, NECN affiliate WWLP reports.
The Southwick Police and Fire Departments responded to the blaze on Two States Avenue shortly before midnight Wednesday. All occupants of the home were able to escape, but three people had to be taken to the hospital, including an infant. These victims suffered from minor burns and smoke inhalation.
According to the fire department, the Red Cross is helping the displaced family. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
