Three people were rescued Sunday from a sinking boat off the Massachusetts coast.
The U.S. Coast Guard responded as the 30-foot vessel was taking on water off of Boston's Deer Island. The occupants were in knee-deep water when crews arrived and pulled them out.
The rescued people are in good condition.
The boat sank, but will be towed away, Coast Guard officials say.
