Halloween Mask Wearing Bank Robbers Still on the Loose

Two people who robbed a bank at gunpoint wearing Halloween masks remained on the loose on Tuesday afternoon.

Three Massachusetts schools were temporarily locked down as police responded to reports of an armed robbery at TD Bank on Washington Street in Holliston, Massachusetts around 1:30 p.m.

The two suspects reportedly fled on foot toward the rear of the bank and were able to avoid capture.

Police said the first suspect, a male, was wearing a beige "baby face" mask with pink cheeks. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt pulled over his head, gray gloves, blue jeans and white sneakers. He is described as being about 5'9" tall with a thin build.

The second suspect, a female, was wearing a black-and-white skeleton mask with gray highlights and pigtails, possibly a wig. She was wearing a dark fleece zip-up and dark gray or black sneakers with white soles. Witnesses said she had a revolver-type firearm.

As a result of the incident, Holliston Public Schools said students at Adams Middle School, Miller Elementary School and the Placentino School were locked down. Holliston High School students - who share buses with Adams students - were unable to leave until the students at Adams were released.

The all-clear was given shortly before 3 p.m., and the school district said all students were safe.

Holliston police and Massachusetts State Police remain at the scene investigating. Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is urged to call Holliston police at 508-429-1212.
