3 State Agencies Closed After Water Main Break

A water main break has forced the closure of three Rhode Island state agencies located in Cranston for the remainder of the day.

The Department of Business Regulation, the Department of Labor and Training and the Office of the Health Insurance Commissioner were closed Friday afternoon. State Department of Administration officials say the three agencies are expected to reopen Monday.

The Department of Labor and Training's netWORKri offices and the Donley Rehabilitation Center will remain open for the rest of the day. The department's other programs will be unavailable until Monday.

Officials say crews are working to repair the water main break at the building complex located on Pontiac Avenue.
