3 Suspects Arrested After East Windsor Home Invasion: Police

Three Springfield, Massachusetts men have been arrested after a home invasion in East Windsor Tuesday, police said.

East Windsor police said they responded to a home on Kreyssig Road after a resident called 911 and said he was hiding in an upstairs bedroom and he heard intruders walking around downstairs.

The resident said someone rang his doorbell and knocked on the door, then broke into the home when he did not answer.

The caller gave police a description of the car the intruders had arrived in and police later stopped a vehicle that matched the description and arrested three people.

The suspects have been identified as 37-year-old Luis Velazquez, 37-year-old Wilson Zayas, and 31-year-old Jose Torres, all of Springfield, Mass. They were each charged with home invasion, burglary, criminal possession of a firearm, third-degree larceny, first-degree criminal mischief, theft of a firearm, and weapons in a motor vehicle.

Police said the investigation is ongoing but all suspects involved have been arrested.
