3 Suspects Arrested After Vandalizing Police Cruisers

Three people were arrested in Lawrence, Massachusetts, after the suspects vandalized police cruisers and posted the incident online.

Last week, the suspects entered the rear parking lot of the Lawrence Police Department and began vandalizing the cruisers, causing thousands of dollars in damage. A video of the incident was posted online, during which threatening statements were made towards police.

Lawrence Police identified the suspects and obtained warrants for their arrests. Massachusetts State Police arrested 24-year-old Efrain Molina and 22-year-old Juan Ayala at an apartment on Thorton Street in Lawrence.

Police traveled to Haverhill Street to locate the third suspect, 19-year-old Jhesy Rodriguez, who answered the door holding a loaded revolver. After his apprehension, a 14-year-old female was located in Rodriguez's bed and police determined she was a victim of statutory rape.

All three men are charged with intimidation of a witness and malicious destruction of property. In addition, Rodriguez is charged with three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, possession of a stolen firearm, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and statutory rape.

The investigation is on-going.
