3rd Arrest Made After Weapons Stolen From Armory in Worcester, Massachusetts

A third arrest has been made in connection to the theft of weapons from the U.S. Army Reserve Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The FBI announced in November that 16 weapons had been stolen from the armory.

James Morales, a Cambridge man suspected of child rape and a former Army reservist, was arrested and charged with the thefts. Later in the month, officials charged 26-year-old Ashley Bigsbee of Boston with unlawful possession of an M-4 assault rifle and with making false statements.

Sunday, Bigsbee's boyfriend, Tyrone James, was also arrested and charged with felony firearm possession and with making false statements to federal agents.

Authorities said Morales stole the weapons and enlisted James's help to sell them. Investigators added  they found a picture of two of the weapons on James's cell phone.

James will appear in Worcester Federal Court Monday afternoon.
