Four New England states got high marks when it came to their levels of education.
A recent study of all 50 states by WalletHub looked at factors such as educational attainment, school quality, and achievement gaps between genders and races.
WalletHub found Massachusetts was the most educated state in the country. Connecticut came in at number three, Vermont right behind at number 4, and New Hampshire at number seven.
WalletHub compared the states while looking at two metrics — 'educational attainment' and 'quality of education.' The data looked at adults aged 25 and older with at least a high school diploma to average university quality.
