5 Arrested For “Molly” Mail Order Operation

Agents obtained, served search warrant at a residence in Sullivan, Maine

Five people have been arrested in Maine in regards to a "Molly" mail order operation.

Acting on information received, investigators opened an investigation involving the suspected shipment, through the U.S. Mail, of a synthetic drug known as Methylone being mailed to addresses in Sullivan.

Agents obtained and served a search warrant on a residence of Ronald Brown on Ashville Rd. Agents discovered that it was occupied by several people, and that some of that was recently shipped was being packaged for re-sale.

Approximately three ounces of "Molly" with a street value of $6,000 was seized.

Ronald G. Brown, Charles J. Rayner, Jamie L. Brown, Edward Muise, and Samantha Polchies were arrested.

Agents from the Maine Drug Enforcement's Downeast Task Force conducted this joint investigation with the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, Ellsworth Police, the U.S. Coast Guard Investigative Service, U.S. Postal Inspectors, and Homeland Security investigators.
