5 Teens Charged in Walmart Disturbance

Five 17-year-olds in St. Albans, Vermont, are accused in a disturbance that left property at a Walmart store damaged.

St. Albans, Vermont, police say five teenagers will face charges in court in connection with a disturbance at a local Walmart store that left store property damaged.

Police say they got a call Monday morning that five young males were causing the disturbance, and that they arrived just as the youths, all 17, were exiting the store. Police Chief Gary Taylor says in a statement that there was moderate damage to store property, but that no one was injured.

Police say all five were arrested and ordered to appear for later court dates. One was charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful mischief. The others were charged with disorderly conduct.

It was not immediately known if any of the five had a lawyer.
