A 5-year-old girl with autism was taken to a hospital after falling from a window Monday in Lynn, Massachusetts.
The child, named Anitra, took a terrible fall from a second-story window. Her father, Bun Tuy, rushed to the family's home on Houghton Street to figure out what happened.
"I just got a call from my wife saying, 'Come home,' my kid has fallen through the window," he recalled.
The child's father believes a snow bank may have cushioned her fall. He's grateful she wasn't badly hurt, and he just wants her back home with her family.
"She's very active, playful," he said.
Anitra was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment. She is expected to recover.
Police are continuing to investigate.
