$5,000 in Maple Syrup Stolen From Vermont Farm Stand

Burglars also got away with a chain saw and jewelry.

Vermont police are investigating the theft of $5,000 worth of maple syrup from a Rochester farm stand.

Police say the burglary at Mom and Pop's Farm Stand occurred between about 6 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

A chain saw and jewelry was also taken.

Investigators are working to match tire tracks found at the scene.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the state police.
