State police say they've recovered over 600 stolen jewelry items from the home of a Vermont man who's been jailed since last month on three burglary cases.
James Myers, an inmate at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility, has been charged with receiving stolen property. He's scheduled to be in Washington District Court on July 15.
Police said they found the items during a search warrant at the 40-year-old Myers' home. They said about 35 of those pieces of jewelry totaling more than $1,300 were taken from a home in Jericho in November.
Myers has been at the jail since May 6 on several burglary charges.
Rosanna Chase of the Vermont Public Defender's Office confirmed she is representing Myers. She declined to comment on the case.
