Police in New Hampshire say they took dozens of recent graduates of an elite prep school into custody after they investigated a party and found underage drinking.
Sunapee Police received a call early Monday that a young man was hanging out the window of a vehicle and appeared to be unconscious.
When officers responded, they found a house with a large party, with young people drinking. Many of those attending were recent graduates of Phillips Academy, in Andover, Massachusetts.
Police said they took 74 underage people into custody, and 23 of them face charges including underage possession and transportation of alcoholic beverages. They are scheduled to appear in court Aug. 4.
No one was hurt.
Police are still working to identify the person who rented the residence for the weekend.
