Firefighters in Manchester, New Hampshire, are working to determine the cause of a fire that heavily damaged an apartment building and left eight people homeless.

Firefighters in Manchester, New Hampshire, are working to determine the cause of a fire that heavily damaged an apartment building and left eight people homeless.

The blaze broke out just after 11 p.m. at 99 Harrison Street on Friday night.

Officials say eight people escaped from the fire that caused about $300,000 worth of damage.

Three cats and one dog were also rescued, according to officials.
