An 87-year-old West Haven, Connecticut, man has pleaded guilty to bribing a town official.

Ceasar Anquillare is the second contractor convicted in the federal bribary case involving the West Haven Housing Authority and Michael Siwek, its former director,

Siwek is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty in September to bribery, conspiracy and tax evasion. Prosecutors say he took over $1.5 million in bribes from 2007 to 2012 in return for awarding contracts with the housing authority.

Anquillare pleaded guilty Thursday to a charge of conspiracy to commit bribery, a charge that carries a possible 5-year prison sentence.

Prosecutors say his firm provided accounting services to the housing authority.

As part of a plea deal, Anquillare has agreed to pay $291,033 in restitution.

He is scheduled to be sentence on July 15.
