AG: 2-Year-Old New Hampshire Girl's Death Being Investigated as Homicide

The cause of death has been determined to be blunt impact injuries

The death of a 2-year-old girl in Berlin, New Hampshire over the weekend is being investigated as a homicide, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office.

The child, who has been identified as Madison Dana, was at home on York Street in Berlin on Sunday when 911 was called around 3:30 p.m. The child was transported to Androscoggin Valley Hospital, where she was pronounced dead in the early evening.

An autopsy conducted Monday morning by the medical examiner's officer determined the manner of death to be homicide, and the cause of death to be blunt impact injuries.

The investigation remains active, according to the attorney general's office. No further information was immediately available.
