Police say a man stabbed two people, including one in the neck, Tuesday in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Officers responded first to a reported stabbing in the area of City Hall after 6:30 p.m. They found a 32-year-old Worcester man. His injuries were superficial, police said.

Investigators learned that the suspect, identified as 35-year-old David Burgos of Worcester, had allegedly stabbed another person.

After Burgos was captured near the YWCA on Main Street, police learned that an ambulance had happened to pass by the second victim, who had been stabbed in the neck.

That victim, also a 35-year-old Worcester man, was taken to the hospital in the ambulance. His condition was not immediately revealed.
