Ambulance Involved in Leominster, Mass. Crash

The crash occurred on Route 2 westbound around 2:50 p.m.

A motor vehicle accident in Leominster, Massachusetts Saturday involved two cars and an ambulance, according to Massachusetts State Police.

The crash occurred on Route 2 westbound around 2:50 p.m. when a Toyota Scion driven by a 28-year-old Marlborough, Mass. woman struck the median, veered, and collided with the ambulance, which was being driven by a 20-year-old Auburn, Mass. woman and had no patients onboard.

Upon coming into contact with the ambulance, the Scion veered back and hit a Subaru Impreza, which was being driven by a 51-year-old Acton, Mass. woman.

The Scion's driver was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. The other two drivers were uninjured.
