Anonymous Donation Made For Body Camera Purchase

The police department says the donation will allow for the purchase of ten body worn cameras

Police in Lebanon, New Hampshire, received an anonymous donation of $18,000 to purchase body cameras for patrol officers.

The current system utilized by the department reportedly does not allow for video documentation of incidents that take place outside the view of the camera mounted in the patrol car.

The police department says the donation will allow for the purchase of ten body worn cameras and cover hardware and installation costs that come with it.

Roll out is said to be several months away.
