Suspects in Armed Robbery Standoff Identified

The Boston Police Department says three armed robbery suspects were arrested following a standoff in the city's Dorchester neighborhood Wednesday night.

The robbery occurred around 6 p.m. at the Pleasant View Variety Store at 1 Savin Hill Ave. The clerk told police the three men, who were wearing masks, robbed the store.

Two of the men jumped over the counter and demanded cash from the register and the other suspect brandished a firearm.

Police say the suspects fled and barricaded themselves inside of a building at 22 Roach St.

The suspects were in the building for hour hours, but police were finally able to negotiate them out of the apartment. 

The suspects were identified as Jose Morales, 21, of Dorchester, Andronique Dossantos, 18, of Dorchester and Kallahn Winbush, 18, of Cambridge.

They will appear in Dorchester District Court on charges of armed robbery while masked, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
