Mass. Man Wanted in Sex Assault Arrested in NH

New Hampshire State Police have arrested a Massachusetts man wanted in connection with a sexual assault

A Massachusetts man wanted in connection with a sexual assault was arrested in New Hampshire and has been charged with rape.

New Hampshire State Police located the vehicle of Timothy Tucker, 33, of Melrose, Sunday afternoon around 2:10 on Tower Hill Road in Auburn.

Tucker was wanted in connection with the assault that occurred early Sunday morning in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.

Police say Tucker knew the victim through friends and broke into the home. He allegedly waited for the victim to return home, threatened the victim with a knife and sexually assaulted the victim.

Tucker then allegedly fled the victim's home. He was arrested at 3:30 p.m. on a trail adjacent to Tower Hill Road.

He is being held at the Rockingham County Jail and has been charged with armed burglary, aggravated rape, intimidation of a witness and assault by means of a dangerous weapon.
