At Least 11 Displaced After 4-Alarm Fire in Allston

The fire at the two and a-half-story wood frame home on Myrick Street broke out shortly after midnight

At least 11 people were displaced after a fire in Boston’s Allston neighborhood early Wednesday morning. 

The fire at the two and a-half-story wood frame home on Myrick Street broke out shortly after midnight. 

One firefighter was treated for a back injury. No other injuries were reported. 

There is no word on what caused the fire, but fire crews say it appears to have started in the second-floor bathroom.

More than 80 firefighters spent hours battling the blaze.
