DA: Man Facing Multiple Charges in Connection to Home Invasion in Athol

A Massachusetts man is facing multiple charges in connection with an apparent home invasion in Athol Tuesday night, according to the Northwestern District Attorney's Office.

Timothy J. Murphy, 58, of Athol, is expected to face charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife), attempted murder, home invasion, vandalizing property, and breaking and entering in the nighttime in the attempt to commit a felony.
